The Attempt at Contacting My Writer

My writer has yet to respond, if I get his response I will post it, but it has been a couple days. Here is the e-mail I sent him:

Dear Mr. Kuhner,
I recently read your article titled "Obama's Final Betrayal." I was very intrigued by the observations you made about Obama's wavering opinions. I had the task of examining your article and blogging about your thesis and supporting points. (President O'bama is Leaving his Former Political Stances) I was wondering if there were any related issues to the article that I could research. Also, is there another article of yours that you find is most informative and suggest that I read? Thank you for your time and effort!

Sincerely,
Jimmy

President O'bama is Leaving his Former Political Stances

Writer Jeffrey T. Kuhner wrote a recent article regarding President O'bama's change in opinion to tax cuts, "Obama's Final Betrayal". Mr. Kuhner claims that President O'bama has abandoned his earlier position on tax cuts and has broken yet another promise he has made. In the article, Kuhner throws down the opposing view with "Contrary to the administration's spin, the agreement is not a 'compromise.'" Kuhner portays President O'bama as a "narcissist" with a "Messiah complex." Writer Kuhner shows that President O'bama has betrayed even his own Democrats and is a failing president. Kuhner backs up this claim with three main points:
  1. President O'bama received nothing in return for his "compromise" with the Republicans.
  2. President O'bama left his original position regarding tax cuts to gain other voters in order to win the 2012 election.
  3. President O'bama is betraying many principles and people in the actions he's made as President:
  • He's betrayed America by sending us on our way to national bankruptcy
  • O'bamacare betrays our democracy.
  • His foreign policy (removing missile-defensive sights, refusing to meet with Iran) has betrayed our international allies.
  • His movements of the troops to Afghanistan with no real plan for victory betrays our troops.
I agree with Kuhner because President O'bama has swayed from his positions regarding "Change" and has kept the Bush administration's tax cuts. Some related topics include the war in Afghanistan, the struggling economy, and the slow-acting Congress.

A Major Threat to the United States

Columnist Kuhner wrote a recent article regarding the influence of Mr. Soros and his immoral activities. Kuhner wrote this article to bring awareness to the atrocity that is Mr. Soros. This misguided man schemes and plots against the world in a very clandestine way that benefits him, and him alone. Kuhner believes that this man should be investigated and tried for the many things he has done wrong to society. For one, he supports Proposition 19 in California that is pushing for the legality of marijuana. This would then lead to further drug leniency throughout the nation, which is degrading to society. Another reason that Kuhner points out is that Mr. Soros has poured millions of dollars into communist-based organizations. A final strong point Kuhner establishes is that Mr. Soros has believed he was god and continues to believe that he is above the rest of humanity. The use of quotations in this situation help form a stronger base for his opinion and give more credibility to his stance. Another strategy Kuhner commonly utilizes is the use of blunt, frank points. Two strong examples, "Mr. Soros is ultimately an amoral megalomaniac..." and, "Mr. Soros is a hypocrite." both state Kuhner's opinion very directly and give an archetypal character type to Mr. Soros. This character brings out feelings of hatred and angst from the reader, helping Kuhner sway the reader to his viewpoint.
